Introduction |
| |
| The
Crucible is a play that was written by Arthur Miller in 1952. It
is based on the events surrounding the 1692 witch trials of Salem,
Massachusetts. Miller wrote about the event as an allegory for McCarthyism
and the Red Scare, which occurred in the United States in the 1950s. The
reviews of the first production were hostile, but a year later a new
production succeeded and the play became a classic. Today the play is
often studied in high schools and universities. (Wikipedia) |

Task |
| |
| Now that you
have seen "The Crucible" you must produce a playbill for the theatrical
production. A playbill is the program an audience receives when attending
a theatrical production. You can work on your own or with a partner. You
will use the Internet to research various aspects of the play and gather
resources that you will include in your playbill. |

Mind Map |
| |
|
| |
Start by
using the Inspiration template to gather the information that you will use
to develop your playbill. Make use of the note feature to collect details
about each element of the play in point form. You can represent each part
of the diagram with a relevant image or icon. |

|
|
|
You can use
