Introduction:

What can we learn from the Chinese, and what can they learn from us?

The Chinese people have shared a common culture longer than any other group on Earth! In this activity you will learn more about Chinese culture and how traditions and customs affect how Chinese people meet their needs. You will also identify what you think is important for us to learn from the Chinese, and what they can learn from us.

Task

Your task is to create a "documentary" using Photo Story to tell the story of how people in China meet their basic needs.

To do this successfully you will need to research, read, write and speak.

You will also work collaboratively with other students in the class in order to gather and analyze pictures that will tell your story.

Process

1. Read through the articles in the table below.  Use your textbook and other print resources as well.

2. Use Inspiration software to organize your information. Identify how physical, social and psychological needs are being met in  China.
