Introduction

You are a news reporter for the local newspaper. The editor of the newspaper has asked you, and several other reporters, to travel back in time to Ancient Greece. On your trip you will examine the civilization of ancient Greece and keep a daily journal of what you find. Upon your return you will be expected to write a newspaper article and describe the ancient civilization of Greece as you saw it.

OR
You are a freelance filmmaker and you have been hired to create a reconstructive documentary (Photo story, photo essay) of life in Ancient Greece. Work with a team of 5 students; each team member must pick a different role.

Task

Choose a role to play, research your topic, write a news article, and publish a newspaper or documentary.

Process

- First you'll be assigned to a team of six students.
- Each group member must pick a different role.
- Once you've chosen a role to play, click on your job title listed below and read your responsibilities.
- Using the resource links provided, each member of your group will create their section of the newspaper.
- After you have completed your research, and typed your articles, place them in the shared folder for other group members.
- Using Publisher each group member will publish a their own newspaper using the group members' articles.
- Add advertisements, classified ads, obituaries, weather reports etc. to make your newspaper appear as authentic as possible.
