In this activity you will use your creativity to create a fractured fairy tale. If you aren't sure what a fractured fairy tale is begin by reading a few. Your library is sure to have some and you can read some on  this website.

Task 1

Begin by reviewing the elements of a fairy tale.

Become familiar with the elements of a story. As a class work through this activity

Task 2 Pick a fairy tale you would like to use for writing a fractured fairy tale.

Task #3 Complete the Matrix for your chosen Fairy Tale

Get a copy of the Matrix from your teacher.

Task #4
 

Plan your new fractured Fairy Tale. Use the Planning Guide to organize your changes.

Hand this in to your teacher before proceeding with your new tale.

Write your new tale using MS Word or use PowerPoint to write and illustrate your new tale.
